Stay tuned for a new post sometime this weekend

It has been way too long since I've shared anything, so I will be working on something this weekend in between watching the Olympics. This is a favorite of mine, but ya'll are important too, so I'll be working my hardest on something that is useful and helpful. I hope everything is going well for all my readers!
Necessity dictates that I be short and sweet at the moment! More to come this weekend!

One Pot Chicken Dumplings Soup

Have you ever looked at your pantry and couldn't figure out what to make? I did that today, and I found a few things and made something pretty delicious! Here's what I had and here's what I used.

One Pot Chicken and Dumplings

Ingredients:

  1. 1 Can of Chicken and dumplings (I used Sweet Sue's)
  2. 1 Can Mixed vegetables (I used Great Value's Mixed Vegetables, but you can use any brand you want or that you have in your pantry)
  3. 1/2 a bag of frozen broccoli (I used the rest of a bag of Great Value Frozen broccoli I'd used earlier in the week)
  4. Salt and pepper (I used Himalayan Pink salt and fresh ground pepper in a grinder)

Directions:

  1. Heat up a skillet or saucepan and add all ingredients.
  2. Cook for about ten minutes or til hot and ingredients are cooked through.
  3. Season with salt and pepper and any other seasonings you wish.
  4. Serve hot.
Makes about two and a half servings. My kids ate the entire pot in one meal. To stretch it out a little more, you can add more cans of whatever vegetables you'd like or another bag or two of frozen vegetable. The joy about this recipe is you can add whatever vegetables you want and enjoy a variety of different flavor combinations.

Writer's Corner Entry #1

Welcome to the Writer's Corner!
Today I want to remind you that when you're writing a blog post or pretty much anything, one thing you need to remember is that when you are speaking in "present tense" (meaning happening right now), you need to make sure that it stays the same through the entire paper or post. This makes your writing so much better and allows you to look and sound more credible. If you have noticed that this post is written in present tense, then good for you!
So, if you are talking about something that happened in the past, try to use that form.
What's the difference between to and too? Here's a sentence that may help you..."I went TO the shop TO get food TOO. Too means also...so if you have also done something, you've done it too. Yes I am sorry it is confusing!
What are problems you have had when trying to translate what you are saying into English?

So, as a side business, idea, however you wanna call it, I got involved in trading within the cryptocurrency market. This isn't necessarily a cryptocurrency platform and it's not my goal to switch completely to trading information here, so I wrote an entry on my other blog. You can find it here. I will be writing and posting more on there once I get my information in an organized form and I'm not thinking all over the place, which I struggle with. I will let you know when a new post is available so you can check it out for yourself!

From the Writer's Corner, a brand new section designed to help brand new English speakers learn the intricacies of English

Introduction:
Calling all folks from India, Pakistan, China, Japan, Africa, and anywhere where English is not a native language! I would love to offer help to all interested in increasing their skill in English. As my major goal is to provide services and help globally, I thought that having a section specifically for those who are learning English or just want to practice or someone to check their work will provide help to those who are looking for this. I offer English help to all non-native English speakers at any level of skill. Meaning, if you can understand what I'm saying, but aren't sure how to say what you want to say, say no more. I will help you turn your thoughts into words.

Personal goals as they reflect to me and my mission

Around this point every year, I sit down and go through my accomplishments of the year to see how close I got to my personal and/or professional goals of the last year. Unfortunately, due to no fault of my own, I had no time to truly devote to my plans and many of them ended up on the back burner. I'm not going to go much into my personal or professional goals here, but if you're interested check out my wordpress account here.

Basically, I believe it is very important to set up and work toward lofty goals. This helps you stay on track and allows you to accomplish much more than you thought possible. My goals are to provide fantastic content that helps families save money and build a financial income that will allow them to stay home, travel, or do whatever they feel is best for their family. Necessarily this will not be a super long post as I have lots of planning to do, but it's been a while since I've made a post here.

Remember, it's okay not to complete every single goal for yourself. Rather, make your goals lofty enough so that you're genuinely stretched to achieve them. This forces you out of your comfort zone and into unfamiliar territory. This is good for you. Don't feel afraid of getting uncomfortable!
