Microworkers.com, is it a scam? Survey Sites that WORK

Microworkers: Scam or No: YES IT IS A SCAM

Here's my take:

So I might have mentioned something about Microworkers.com as a good place to earn money. After testing it and waiting for longer than necessary for any form of payout, I have determined that no, it does NOT pay out as expected and is a waste of time. I earned the minimum to pay out and requested a pin to be mailed to me (this is a requirement according to their rules), only to never receive it. I am rather disappointed as it seemed like a rather easy way to earn some extra income.

I am still waiting for a confirmation, but it's been months with no payments, so I'm going to make the conclusion that it is not something you can use to make money. Quite depressing if you ask me, especially since the list of tasks are super easy and very helpful and useful. Oh well...life goes on!

So what does work?

Well, since Microworkers didn't work, I do have a list of places that DO work, and have already been verified. Since most mamas don't have time to read multiple posts for the information, I'm rewriting it here so that you can grab it quickly and get to working.  Here's my current list of online opportunities that you can use to make money. I'm just glad I went through and tested before I promoted it as something that worked.

Survey Sites/Work Online Sites:

Survey Savvy
Survey Cow (type in DT20XH for a special bonus for both of us)
Surveys on the Go
Amazon Mechanical Turk
Inbox Dollars
I have already listed their attributes in other posts, so a simple list is best. These are all sites I have received multiple payments from. SurveyCow just sent me $10 to my paypal yesterday and I've made close to a hundred with Amazon Mechanical Turk. I'm at $15 til I can cash out with Inbox Dollars, so yes these are verified.

Heres My Parting Thought:

I hope these help you get to where you want to go. They don't pay millions a year, but there are benefits to using them. I have paid bills and had extra to buy pizza while using these various sites, so don't think you won't make anything. Here's hoping you can get just a bit more in your pocket and can grow into better living standards OR even put some money in the bank! Both are very noble goals if you ask me. Thank you for reading!

Kindness, Condemnation, Judgment, and Suffering

Lately while perusing social media pretty extensively, I've noticed an extreme lack of understanding and more than enough condemnation and judgment. It's rather unfortunate, and shows a lack of care for our fellow humans and is something I believe needs to be changed. How to change it? Choose to always be considerate of others... Be there for the friend who calls and says she's lonely...check up on your friends you KNOW are depressed and make sure they've taken care of themselves lately. DO NOT write incendiary condemning posts about people you consider "different". Who knows what they've gone through and why they react the way they are. Be KIND. I wrote a little something here that expands a little on what I'm saying.

This is my pledge for this year...one of those "New Years Resolutions" if you want to call it that. I choose to every day make it a point to be kind to those who according to the world "don't deserve it". The outcasts...the socially unaccepted...the bullied...the "different." and the ones who desperately are crying out to be noticed or accepted. I will focus on retweeting kindness and compassion on my Twitter and also insist on treating those I come in contact with in the kindest way possible.

I know this is a short post, but I believe it is worth talking about. Part of being a successful mommy and person is learning how to be a good influence in the world...Teaching your children to be kind is crucial to their development, as they will take over the world once we are gone. Don't you want your children to be positive contributors to the world? To be the ones who say, you belong and I don't care if you're different, you're important and your voice matters. I believe this is one of our most important duties as parents of children...We are teaching them how to live in this hideous messed up world and how to help change it.

Stay tuned for a new post sometime this weekend

It has been way too long since I've shared anything, so I will be working on something this weekend in between watching the Olympics. This is a favorite of mine, but ya'll are important too, so I'll be working my hardest on something that is useful and helpful. I hope everything is going well for all my readers!
Necessity dictates that I be short and sweet at the moment! More to come this weekend!

One Pot Chicken Dumplings Soup

Have you ever looked at your pantry and couldn't figure out what to make? I did that today, and I found a few things and made something pretty delicious! Here's what I had and here's what I used.

One Pot Chicken and Dumplings

Ingredients:

  1. 1 Can of Chicken and dumplings (I used Sweet Sue's)
  2. 1 Can Mixed vegetables (I used Great Value's Mixed Vegetables, but you can use any brand you want or that you have in your pantry)
  3. 1/2 a bag of frozen broccoli (I used the rest of a bag of Great Value Frozen broccoli I'd used earlier in the week)
  4. Salt and pepper (I used Himalayan Pink salt and fresh ground pepper in a grinder)

Directions:

  1. Heat up a skillet or saucepan and add all ingredients.
  2. Cook for about ten minutes or til hot and ingredients are cooked through.
  3. Season with salt and pepper and any other seasonings you wish.
  4. Serve hot.
Makes about two and a half servings. My kids ate the entire pot in one meal. To stretch it out a little more, you can add more cans of whatever vegetables you'd like or another bag or two of frozen vegetable. The joy about this recipe is you can add whatever vegetables you want and enjoy a variety of different flavor combinations.

Writer's Corner Entry #1

Welcome to the Writer's Corner!
Today I want to remind you that when you're writing a blog post or pretty much anything, one thing you need to remember is that when you are speaking in "present tense" (meaning happening right now), you need to make sure that it stays the same through the entire paper or post. This makes your writing so much better and allows you to look and sound more credible. If you have noticed that this post is written in present tense, then good for you!
So, if you are talking about something that happened in the past, try to use that form.
What's the difference between to and too? Here's a sentence that may help you..."I went TO the shop TO get food TOO. Too means also...so if you have also done something, you've done it too. Yes I am sorry it is confusing!
What are problems you have had when trying to translate what you are saying into English?

So, as a side business, idea, however you wanna call it, I got involved in trading within the cryptocurrency market. This isn't necessarily a cryptocurrency platform and it's not my goal to switch completely to trading information here, so I wrote an entry on my other blog. You can find it here. I will be writing and posting more on there once I get my information in an organized form and I'm not thinking all over the place, which I struggle with. I will let you know when a new post is available so you can check it out for yourself!

From the Writer's Corner, a brand new section designed to help brand new English speakers learn the intricacies of English

Introduction:
Calling all folks from India, Pakistan, China, Japan, Africa, and anywhere where English is not a native language! I would love to offer help to all interested in increasing their skill in English. As my major goal is to provide services and help globally, I thought that having a section specifically for those who are learning English or just want to practice or someone to check their work will provide help to those who are looking for this. I offer English help to all non-native English speakers at any level of skill. Meaning, if you can understand what I'm saying, but aren't sure how to say what you want to say, say no more. I will help you turn your thoughts into words.
